LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A strong line of storms slammed Kentuckiana Sunday evening, causing damage in parts of southern Indiana and many parts of Kentucky.
In Louisville, the Old Louisville neighborhood seemed to have a lot of damage, with several streets closing, including 3rd Street and 7th Street.
At 7th and Lincoln, three power poles were snapped with several trees down.
While the storm dropped much-needed rain, it also caused power outages.
At the height of the storm, LG&E and KU said as many as 11,000 people were without power. Crews were working through the night to restore electricity.
