NEW ALBANY, IN (WAVE) – The No. 22-ranked IU Southeast men’s basketball team defeated St. Catharine College 88-72 on Tuesday night with a strong first half from sophomore Wes Cox.
Cox had 23 points on six of nine shooting in the first half to pace the Grenadiers. After a sluggish start, the Grenadiers were able to open a double-digit lead by halftime because of Cox’s hot shooting. IU Southeast (6-4) shot 43 percent from the field in the first half and 46 percent from three-point range to open up the large lead.
